The past couple of weeks we have been focusing on Reflection. Last week we focused on not being frozen, and we began to remember our summers instead of stuffing them in the past. This week we will end our reflection time with some intentional remembering and processing. Look back over your Trek Journal. Reflect on your critical incidents, iconic moments, and anything else that stands out to you.

Take a few moments to journal or talk with a Trek buddy about these questions.

What are the strongest memories of your summer?

Where do you/did you see God in these times?

How have you been communicating your memories to others?

Make a power point of your summer, and keep it to 5 slides. This will make you focus on the main themes of your summer.

Ask a friend out for coffee, and ask them to just listen for 5-10 minutes. Let yourself ramble. Then ask them what they heard you saying. This will help you take a step back and look at your memories from an outside perspective.

Ask your staff if you can give a testimony at Fall Conference, Large Group, or somewhere with an audience and a time limit. Practice!

I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. They are corrupt and not his children; to their shame they are a warped and crooked generation. Is this the way you repay the Lord, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your Father, your Creator, who made you and formed you? Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past.
