The Global Urban Trek is a summer immersion programs that focuses on the intersection of faith, justice, urban and global poverty, vocation and stewardship. We partner with local churches and non-government organizations (NGOs) to serve as our teachers, guide and mentors for our staff and students in Nicaragua. Our posture is live, listen and learn what God is already doing in these communities.
As students experience daily life and the needs of this community, they may begin to sense God's call to longer-term service among the urban poor.
June 19 - July 20, 2023
Student expenses for a summer total $3,200 plus the flight to Sacramento. But, in lieu of a fixed cost - the Trek asks students to set a fundraising goal based on historical cost and each students’ background and will fundraise in a communal model.
