The Global Urban Trek is a summer immersion program that focuses on the intersection of faith, justice, urban and global poverty, vocation, and stewardship. We partner with local churches and non-government organizations (NGOs) to serve as our teachers, guides, and mentors for our staff and students. Our posture is live, listen and learn what God is already doing in these communities. As students experience daily life and the needs of this community, they may begin to sense God's call to longer-term service among the urban poor.
We will be working in Phnom Penh, serving alongside our global partners, focusing on working on education and public health. If you are interested in health care and working with children, we are taking a team of 6 - 8 staff and students to live internationally with our friends in Cambodia. Our partnership with Cambodia has been longstanding and after many years of no Trek teams, we have been invited back. This is a new site.
